March 14 Record: 2-4
Overall Record: 72-61-1
Eric Bledsoe ($7000) @ MIA - The point guard position should be used tonight for value purposes. There are too many value plays, however I still like Bledsoe in this matchup. The Heat come into this game hot, but having to deal with the threat of Giannis should open up the rest of the floor, especially for a red hot Bledsoe. Look for good things tonight from the veteran point guard.
Emmanuel Mudiay ($4800) @ SA - Mudiay is expected to get the start tonight in the absence of Dennis Smith Jr. Even with Smith in the lineup, Mudiay has put together several nice performances, and his numbers can only improve with the additional minutes.
Landry Shamet ($4400) vs. CHI - Shamet has been a solid piece for the Clippers since acquiring him as a part of the Tobias Harris trade. He has fit right into the starting lineup smoothly and continually posted solid performances. The Bulls allow opponents to shoot about 36 percent from deep, and that bodes well for the sharpshooter, who I think should see plenty of looks in this one.
James Harden ($12500) vs. PHO - Bottom line: Harden is a must play with Chris Paul out of the lineup. In 23 games without Paul, Harden is averaging 41.9 PPG, 7.6 RPG, and 8.9 APG. This shouldn't change with the last-place Suns coming to Houston tonight.
Demar DeRozan ($9500) vs. NY - DeRozan is coming off two big-time performances against Dallas and Milwaukee (52.8 FanDuel Point Avg.). With the tanking Knicks coming to town tonight, this should continue for the veteran wing.
Austin Rivers ($3500) vs. PHO - I would expect Rivers to start tonight in the absence of Chris Paul. In 11 games without the future Hall-of-Famer, Rivers has averaged 11.6 PPG, 2.9 RPG, and 3.8 APG while playing just over 37 minutes per game.
Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11800) @ MIA - Giannis should continue to post MVP numbers in this one. Though the Heat are surging as of late, I expect the Bucks to bring that to a halt, with Giannis leading the charge, especially after being limited on Tuesday because of foul trouble.
Jabari Parker ($5800) vs. CHA - Parker has been a very good offensive piece for the Wizards. He continues to post double-digit scoring numbers off the bench, and grab a fair amount of boards each night. With a weak Hornets front court facing the Washington tonight, I expect great value from Parker.
Gerald Green ($3500) vs. PHO - Green has been a great bench piece all season for the Rockets, and with Chris Paul out, he is another threat for big minutes. He averages 12 PPG and 3.2 RPG without Paul this season in just over 26 minutes per game.
Bobby Portis ($6900) vs. CHA - Portis has been a great addition for the Wizards, and has been surging of late. He is consistently a double-double threat. In his last matchup with Charlotte, he posted 23 points and 9 rebounds in just 25 minutes. I expect another big night for him tonight.
PJ Tucker ($4600) vs. PHO - Tucker, like Harden and Rivers, has great value when Chris Paul sits. Though the numbers aren't huge, he posts 7.2 PPG, 6.3 RPG, and 2.3 SPG in nearly 37 minutes per game without Paul. He should see another great value night tonight.
Josh Jackson ($4400) @ HOU - Jackson has been very up-and-down this season for Phoenix. I expect the Rockets to run away with this one, so I could see Jackson getting plenty of run. And if he does, he will demand the ball. Look for a nice, yet inefficient stat-line for Jackson.
Frank Kaminsky ($4200) @ WAS - Kaminsky should see another solid minute total tonight. With Cody Zeller listed as doubtful tonight, he could see close to 25 minutes. He has been an effective shooter since being reinserted into the rotation, yet he doesn't provide much else. The Wizards struggle defensively, however and I could see a nice scoring total for the Wisconsin product tonight.
Joel Embiid ($10900) vs. SAC - Embiid should be heavily involved, as usual, in this one. With a weaker big in Willie Cauley-Stein as tonights matchup, I expect Embiid to bounce back from Tuesday's performance against Cleveland with a huge night tonight.
Brook Lopez ($6200) @ MIA - Lopez should continue to pose as a great 3-and-D big. The inability of Miami's bigs to defend the perimeter should bode well for Lopez, and he is quietly top-5 in the league in blocks, averaging 2.21 per game. Look for another solid value night for the vet.
