Israel Adesanya (16-0) is facing off against Kelvin Gastelum (15-3). I have been a big fan of Adesanya since his debut in the UFC with roots in kickboxing Adesanya knows how to put on a show. Gastelum has heavy wrestling roots and we should see him try to keep Adesanya on the ground. I don't see him being able to do this, standing up its a one sided fight. Adensaya will use his 9 inch reach advantage to win this one by TKO in the 3rd.
On this card we have a couple rematch fights and this is one of them. Ovince Saint Preux (23-12) is squaring off against Nikita Krylov (24-6) for the second time. In there last fight Saint Preux finished Krylov via submission. Tonight I see Krylov winning this fight, in his press conferences he looks highly motivated about this is something I haven't seen in him in previous interviews. Look for this one to go to decision with Krylov taking this one. The best pick for this one is Over 1.5 rounds for -105 odds.
Max Holloway -205
Over 1.5 Rounds -105
Wilson Reis +120
20 to win 107
Hey guys thanks for checking back in on my page! Just a quick recap on last week, we went 2-3 on calling the winner making us 8-1. Our underdog pick of the night last week lost by split decision. Unfortunately we did not cash in on our parlays but lets see if we can change that up this week! Also be sure to follow my Instagram where you will find all my picks for FREE! Check it out "filthykos"
Stephen Thompson (14-3-1) is going up against Anthony Pettis (21-8). This is going to be a fairly slow fight for the first round but will heat up when both fighters find their distance. During this fight you'll see both fighter using heavy kick attacks, but the reach of Thompson will be too much for Pettis. Look for Thompson to win this one by Unanimous Decision.
Maycee Barber (6-0) is going up against a versatile JJ Aldrich (7-2). This fight to me isn't all that special. But I have been watching Barber since her first fight and have seen a lot of improvement in her fight style. I think she will have what it takes to take it to Aldrich and win this one by split decision.
Man I love a heavy weight bout! But I hate betting on them. This Co-Main event between Curtis Blaydes (10-2) and Justin Willis (8-1) is different. Both fighters have the capablitiy to take out each other with one swing but the X-factor for this fight is experience. Although both fighters have seemingly identical records Blaydes has gone up against far bigger names. I believe that Blaydes experience and quickness on his feet will help him defeat Willis.
Welcome back! Last week we called the winner of our three matches including our underdog pick of the night making us 6-0 on calling the winner. Unfortunately, Arksen and Sanchez won the match early so I missed two out of three of my predicted endings which puts me at 4-2 for calling the outcome. We also were one away from cashing big on last week’s parlay. This week is all about parlays I will be providing three fight picks along with a couple of parlays.
Heavy hitting Derrick Lewis looks to stop (21-6) Junior Dos Santos (20-5) from climbing the Heavyweight ranks. Santos is the type of guy to pick apart his opponents from a distance. Lewis on the other hand likes to leave everything in the Octagon and will be swinging for the finish the whole fight. For this fight take Santos straight.
Blagoy Ivanov (16-2) vs. Ben Rothwell (36-10) is really one of the fights I'm most excited to watch. The veteran Rothwell will look to move his career back in the right direction. Many don't know but after his loss to Junior Dos Santos he hurt his knee and was out for a year. When he was ready to come back he failed a drug test and was suspended for two years. Look for Rothwell to get things back on track. This is my underdog pick of the night.
Beneil Dariush (15-4-1) is going up against Drew Dober (20-8). This fight could end up being the fight of the night. This fight could go one of two ways, either Dober keeps it on his feet and will upset Dariush or Dariush keeps it on the ground and will submit Dober. My pick is the latter look for Dariush to get pounded while on his feet but come up with the submission in the 3rd round.
Junior Dos Santos -210
Ben Rothwell +105
With this parlay you have a shot at doubling your money!
Anthony Rocco Martin -225
Jeff Hughes -240
Beneil Dariush -200
Again this parlay gives you the opportunity to double your money!
Last week we did not do too bad, we came out 3-0 on our picks and called two out of three of their endings. Hey you cant win em all! But on to this weeks fights! This weeks UFC event is held in Las Vegas with two title fights on the card. This one should be fun, lets get this thing going.
When these two were first announced to fight I was not excited, Lawler (28-12) has over extended his career and should have stopped fighting a year ago. Arksen (18-0) is making his UFC debut, Arksen an Olympic level wrestler is going to keep this fight on the ground and win by decision. My pick is over 2 1/2 and Arksen.
This is one of the fights that I'm excited to watch Sanchez (28-11) is going up against Gall (5-1), one of my favorite new fighters. After his win against WWE superstar CM Punk, Gall was pushed into the spotlight, in my opinion much too quickly. Gall is the type of guy that can knock anyone out, but I don't see that happening in this fight. I think Sanchez is going to hold out and win this won by decision. This is my upset pick of the night.
Stamann (17-2) and Pérez (21-6-1) both have not impressed me. These two fighters have made it to the cards in most of their fights I don't see that ending here. Look for Stamann to win by split decision, the pick is over 2 1/2.
Over 2 ½ PEREZ @ C. STAMANN , MMA
Z. MAGOMEDSHARIPOV J. STEPHENS @ Z. MAGOMEDSHARIPOV
Over 2 ½ T. TORRES (W) @ W. ZHANG
Over 2 ½ R. LAWLER @ B. ASKREN
This to me is a good value bet lining these up together gets you odds of +201. Good Luck and happy betting!
The picks are in! We have a bunch of great fights on the card for tomorrows UFC event, with an even better main card event. Lets get this ball rolling!
Prague's Main Event features two very good fighters. Santos (20-6) has a heavy hand and is 3rd in UFC for most knockouts. Santos is an explosive fighter with a chaotic fighting style he is always looking to finish his fights early. Blachowicz (23-7) is a very controlled fighter, he makes smart decisions in the ring and has very good technique both on his feet and on the ground. Blachowicz has his hands full in this fight, the key to this match is to control the tempo, if Blachowicz can withstand Santos in the first round this might just be his fight. But I just don't see that happening look for Santos to finish this one in the first round.
Pudilova (8-3) has gone the distance in all of her UFC fights. A native, Pudilova will look to snap her losing streak here in Prague. Carmouche (12-6) has gone to the cards in six straight fights. I can't see this fight ending early. The pick here is Carmouche via decision.
Pedersoli (11-2) is a solid fighter and in my opinion is the better overall fighter in this match up my only concern is the lack of defense he has, in many of his fights he becomes a human punching bag. Grant (8-2) is a knockout artist, after winning in the Contender Series I am going against the grain here and picking Grant via 1st round knockout.
